Product Photography
Product Photography for Small Brands
Product images that feel like they belong in your brand — not like a catalog page, not like a stock photo, not like a phone shot on a kitchen counter.

What I do here
Positioning and approach.
Product photography for independent brands sits between two extremes: sterile ecommerce catalog work on one end, overly art-directed editorial on the other. I work in the middle — clean enough to sell, warm enough to feel like your brand.
Most sessions produce a library split between traditional product shots (clean background, consistent angle, ecommerce-ready) and contextual product shots (the product in use, in the hand, on the table, in the room). Both matter. One sells on the product page; the other sells on Instagram and the homepage.
I shoot with natural light whenever the product and the space allow it. When it does not — small products that need precise control — I use a single continuous light source and a restrained setup that keeps the look warm and natural, not harsh.

Process
Four steps, no surprises.
01
Inquire
Send a short message about your business, the kind of images you need, and rough timing. I reply within two business days with a proposal or a referral.
02
Plan
We talk through your customer, the destinations for the images, and the look you want. I build a simple shot list you can sign off on before the shoot day.
03
Shoot
I arrive early, work quietly, and give the space room to be itself. A half-day is four hours; a full day is eight. Most of the good frames come from the slow moments.
04
Deliver
Finished, color-graded images arrive in a web gallery within two weeks. Full commercial rights for your business, in perpetuity. Sized for web, print, and social.
